Declaration of Disaster and Temporary Curfew Order Spring Weather

Greetings Waller Residents,

Due to the unforeseen weather, we experienced last week we have put a Declaration of Disaster in place for the City of Waller. We had lots of trees and wind damage throughout the city.  Due to some residence still being without power Council voted last night to move forward with a “Temporary Curfew Order” to protect public health and safety and to protect property from damage or destruction during  this state of local disaster.   This does not include any travel to and from the City of Waller for work, this is for anyone loitering or walking around during those hours due to a couple of break ins we have experienced due to the storm.  Please carry about your normal activities but be mindful the Waller Police Department will be patrolling during those times to ensure our residence are safe until power is fully restored. The curfew once again is only temporary and will end on Friday, May 24,2024

Thank you

City of Waller
